Fellow senior Harris continued his strong play in the poor weather conditions as he tied for sixth after rounds of 67-75-76 for a 218 tournament total. Senior Affeldt led the charge in the third round for the Wolverines as he moved up from a tie for 12th to finish with a career-best tie for second after firing rounds of 77-68-72 for a tournament total of 217. Michigan's Affeldt, Illinois' Geoff Lound, Wisconsin's Jon Turcott and Miami's Jeff Ritchey all tied for second (217), three strokes behind Stutzman.
